Basstime Online was birthed out of requests from aspiring church musicians for individual lessons. Over the years we have helped students who started out barely able to hold their bass guitar correctly to being capable church musicians and beyond. Many of our students have taken their training all the way to being featured musicians with traveling Southern Gospel groups. The heart of Basstime Online is to equip bass guitarists to make local church music the best music.
All new beginner students are required to order and work through the 6 lesson beginner series ($60) before advancing to personal online lessons with Adam Borden. These lessons can be ordered through the Contact Form below. Once payment is secured through PayPal or Venmo the lessons will be delivered electronically.
What does ‘Beginner’ mean? If you can do the following you are NOT a beginner: Play songs by ear correctly, play the major, minor, and pentatonic scale, know where and can name note positions on the neck, read and play musical notation of any type.
